We offer tailor made individual short courses with overnight stay and private lessons. You can select the topic from the list below or select your own special dishes.

Private Lessons
Private lessons can be arranged for a group of friends.
You can select the topic from the list supplied or select your own special dishes.
The private lesson will take place in the Berry Lodge kitchen.
Prices vary depending on the menu and numbers but start at 220 Euro for a three course dinner for 4 prepared at the school and based on one of the topics from the list.
Additional guests up to 8 are charged 38 Euro for food and service costs in the dining room.

Health and Safety rules should be followed in the Cook ery Kitchen:
Comfortable non-slip shoes should be worn in the kitchen
Wash hands and wear an apron
Leave coats and bags away from the kitchen
Use the correct knives for the job in hand
Tidy as you go

*Course fee must be paid for in advance
*Course fee will be refunded minus 30 Euro administration charge with two weeks written cancellation notice prior to start date.
*Places can be transferred to another person.
THE COOKERY SCHOOL WILL BE UNDER NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY LOSS, INJURY, OR DAMAGE TO STUDENTS OR THEIR PROPERTY WHETHER IN RESPECT OF ANY NEGLECT, ACT OR OMISSION BY THE SCHOOL, ITS AGENT OR EMPLOYEES.
Berry Lodge reserves the right to alter the course content or timing or cancel a course at any time. In the event of a course cancellation, notification will be given as soon as possible and the full booking fee will be returned.

This course is available on request and you can include it as part of your visit to Berry Lodge. We have designed it for two or more people and it will take place during the weekdays (not at weekends). You can choose the theme from the list of topics supplied. (see main column)

The following is a sample itinerary:
- Arrive from 4.0 pm to 7.0 pm
- Supper 7.30 pm
- Breakfast 8.30-9.30 am
- Walk by the sea
- 11.0 am to 2.0 pm
hands on morning with demonstration - Tasting of cooked food and departure
- Stay a second night for 40 Euro extra
Cost: 75 Euro per person sharing includes one night’s accommodation, cookery and lunch
