Cooking from the Farmer’s Market

Cost: Full weekend €240 includes 2 nights bed and breakfast, 1dinner, one lunch and dinner and 5-6 hours of cookery tuition

Very many towns around the country now have Farmer’s markets. The farmer’s and local people who attend these markets bring in fresh natural foods mostly free from additives and preservatives and eggs, hen and ducks that are free range. These markets are filled with hearty fruit and vegetables in season that are delicious to prepare, flavoursome and healthy to eat. As our local markets are scheduled for Thursday and Friday we will have collected the foods in season from these markets. As this course is in Early Summer we will expect to get many greens spinach and lettuces and Spring carrots.
